Hey, I think I’m getting this once a day thing down! So since I already posted about the 4th of July, I’m going to skip over that and go to the second grandkids vacation that my mother did in August. She does it every August. They go to the beach and play and do fun things. This is the first time in years that I’ve gone only because my mother wanted Lily to be a part of things. So we went. And it was grand.
We went to this place called Stretch Island.
Part of Day 1:
The kids went out on low tide and played.


The babies & Erik played in the rocks and in the backyard:

Then of course, Lauren and Erik had to have a seaweed fight.





As you can see, a good time was had by all. There was a ton of seaweed.

So I didn’t make it all through the first day. Believe me, I have more pictures to post. But it will have to wait until tomorrow.
